Vivian Lunett Waters Eaker
CASAR — Mrs. Vivian Lunett Waters Eaker, 77, of 1868
Moriah School Road, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Cleveland Regional
Medical Center.
She was born June 8, 1928, in Rutherford County to the late Lura
Florence Waters.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Moriah United Methodist
Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Hugh Lee Eaker.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Tom Davis,
and one grandson, Will Davis, all of Casar.
Services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Moriah United Methodist
Church, with the Revs. Kelly Ottinger and Rick Hamrick officiating. The
body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the funeral. Burial
will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 tonight at Stamey Funeral
Home.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Moriah Cemetery Fund,
in care of Syble Wall, 154 Otis Road, Casar, NC 28020.
