Mary Elizabeth Laughlin Huber
June 16, 1925 - January 24, 2008
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Laughlin Huber, 82, of Garver Street, Lawndale, went
home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Cleveland
Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Spurgeon
Laughlin and Sarah Elizabeth Digh Laughlin. She retired from Cleveland
Mills where she was a winder. She was a longtime member of First United
Methodist Church. She loved to bake and help with church meals. She was
a graduate of Piedmont School.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband,
Arthur Maurice Huber; four brothers, J.T. Laughlin, Lee Franklin
Laughlin, Charles Laughlin and Thurman Laughlin and a sister, Melba L.
Johnson.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Judy Mohle and husband,
Bill of Rock Hill South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January
27, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, Lawndale. The funeral service
will follow at 3:00 with the Rev. Marti Slater and Rev. David Reep
officiating.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
