Leroy Harrison aka Fred William Fox Birth: 14 Mar 1919, Wichita, Sedgwick Co, KS After the death of his father & then being neglected by his mother, Leroy took his three younger brothers from Buffalo to Lawndale by wading the Broad River to avoid being found & returned to her. Leroy lived with his grandfather Pruette in the first house after crossing the bridge in Lawndale. At some point he changed his name to Fred William Fox & left Cleveland Co. In Sept 1928 he's known to have been in Spokane, WA enroute to Idaho. He served in the Army from 1940-1943. He also lived in Arroyo Grande, CA & eventually settled on 80 acres in Visalia, CA where he grew cotton & worked at the Visalia Feed Mill. Fred had no contact with his brothers for over 40 years until a reunion in 1980. Children of Fred & Rita Fred E. Fox
