Clyde Wilson

Clyde Columbus Wilson, 69, of Shelby, died Saturday at his
home.
A native of Cleveland County and the son of the late I.P. and
Emma Clark Wilson, he was retired from Lily Mill shipping department. he was an
Army veteran of World War II and a member of Lily Memorial Baptist church.
Surviving are his wife, Ava Scism Wilson of Shelby; a son,
Roy Wilson of Shelby; a brother, J.B. Wilson of Shelby; two sisters, Mrs. Issac
Edmonson and Virginia Wilson of Shelby; and two grandchildren.
Services were to be held today at 11 o'clock at Lily Memorial
Baptist Church with the Dr. Earnest Arnold and the Rev. Broadus Heatherly
officiating. Burial was to follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Lutz-Austell Funeral Home was in charge.
