James Edgar "PeeWee" Swink
James “PeeWee” Edgar Swink, 58, of Lawndale, NC, passed away
Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at the VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. Graveside
Services were held in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Cleveland Co., Mr. Swink was a farmer. He was a member of New Bethel
Baptist Church. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam
Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Plato Swink; his mother, Sarah
Lou Morrison; and a sister, Barbara Ann Swink.
He is survived by his step-mother, Frances Maloney Swink of Boiling Springs, NC;
a daughter, Angela Ayers of Shelby; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill Swink of
Polkville, NC and Roger Swink of Gastonia, NC; and 2 sisters, Betty Thackerson
of Shelby and Jeanette Goodman of Lawndale, NC.
