Drew Scism
CHARLOTTE — Mr. Drew Scism, 17, was taken home by his heavenly
father Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at Presbyterian Hospital.
A native of Charlotte, he was the son of Bryant O. and Teresa Harrill Scism. He
was a junior at Providence High School. He was also a member of Boy Scouts Troop
No. 15 and just achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Drew was a member of Carmel
Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Scism.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, David Scism; maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harrill of Rockingham and many aunts, uncles
and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the
sanctuary of Carmel Baptist Church.
The family will greet friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the church.
