Geneva Richards Carter
SHELBY - Mrs. Geneva Richards Carter, 80, of N. Morgan
St., died Monday, April 5, 1999, at Century Care of Shelby.
A native of the District of Columbia, she was preceded in death by her parents,
Pierce and Bessie Blanton Richards. She was retired from Cleveland Mills and
Doran Mills-Buffalo Plant, where she was a spinner. She was a member of Lawndale
United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with the
Rev. Cecil Buff officiating. Burial will follow at Palm Tree United Methodist
Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Stamey Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
