Carolyn Jones Pritchard
LAWNDALE - Mrs. Carolyn Joyce Jones Pritchard, 70, of
Lawndale, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Hospice at Wendover
in Shelby.
Carolyn was born in Cleveland County on March 14, 1939, to the
late Jackson Monroe Jones and Ora Lee Scism Jones of Lawndale. She
was a homemaker and member of Lawndale Baptist Church.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll
Russell Pritchard, and a sister, Rebecca Grigg.
Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, Gary Pritchard and
wife, Violet, of Lawndale and Chuck Pritchard
and wife, Toni, of Leesville, La.; grandson, Fred Pritchard of Lawndale;
brother, Jack Jones of Double Shoals; and two
sisters, Martha Jones and Amanda Scruggs, both of Lawndale.
Funeral: 11a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, Stamey Funeral Home
Chapel, Fallston
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the funeral home
one hour before the service.
