W. J. Carter is William Jackson "Jack" Carter. His first wife was Susan Peeler, d/o John Henry Peeler & Nancy Gipson, who died in 1873. In 1875 Jack married her sister, Margaret Adela Peeler. Jacks's parents, William "Willy" Carter & Amy Alice Hasten are also buried in this cemetery in unmarked graves.
