Nolan - Hord

Jessica Lauren Nolan and Christopher Michael Hord were married Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Buffalo Baptist Church in Shelby.
The Rev. Max Turner Jr. officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She chose LeAnn Leonhardt of Fallston as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Heather Jones, Joy Hord and Lacy Holland, all of Shelby, and Chelsey Hoyle of Cherryville.
Flower girl was Taylor Nolan of Shelby, and Tyler Hoyle of Cherryville was ring bearer.
Chrissie Hoyle of Shelby was wedding director and pianist was Kathy Weaver of Cherryville.
Beth Newton of Cherryville attended the register and Lee Holland of Shelby was program attendant.
The bridegroom chose his father as best man.
Groomsmen were Brian Hord, Josh Nolan and Kenny Holland, all of Shelby, and Michael Vinesett of Belwood.
A reception followed the ceremony, and a rehearsal dinner was held Dec. 9. Both were held at Buffalo Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Cliff and Lori Nolan of Shelby.
She is the granddaughter of Jackie and Agnes Jones of Shelby and the late Clarence and Bernice Nolan.
The bridegroom is the son of Thomas and Glenna Hord of Cherryville.
He is the grandson of Ann Hord of Cherryville and Lucille Holland and the late Albert Holland of Shelby.
